This 7 7/8" X 4 1/4" X 8 7/8" cold cast resin black & gold Anubis balancing the scales is such a great representation of the Egyptian God of embalming and leading those to the afterlife. Surrounded by skulls representing all those he has helped carry to the afterlife while holding the scales for weighing of the heart and feather of judgment. His body from the back is very much like the Egyptian Ankh outlined with skulls of the dead. Anubis was the Egyptian deity of cemeteries and embalming as well as the protector of graves.
